I. Let us come into our hearts,
His favorite resting place, His temple dear.
Let us come where He awaits -
the Father, Saviour, Sanctifier.
Let us come to the Trinity, our Family, our Lord, our God.
Let us come to Jesus Christ, our King!
II. For He is there to gaze at you, to love you.
He is there to show your sins, to pardon you.
He is there to show your wounds, your hurts, to heal you,
to give His peace, Jesus Christ our King.
III. So, let us come to simply be with Him in silence.
Let's adore Him, love Him, rest in Him in silence.
Let us thank Him, plead to Him in silence.
Contemplate, gaze at Him in silence.
IV. Let us learn to simply pray in silence.
Let's be alert, awake, aware, attentive,
let us learn to humbly bow in silence.
Be still, listen now in silence.
V. For he is there to wait for us to be like Him.
To surrender, to say yes to Him, to trust Him.
To fill us with His heavenly gifts of love and peace.
He is there, be with Him, in silence.
VI. He thought of you, and loved you from eternity...
He willed you, formed you, moulded you, He needs you...
to bring His love and peace to those around...
who walk the earth in loneliness and fear.
VII. To heal them, to forgive them, to love them...
to make them know His love through those who serve...
to call them, too, to use them for others near...
till all the world is one with Him forever.
VIII. O, brother, sister, come and gaze at His self-sacrifice...
Gaze at His love throughout His earthly life unto the Cross.
He left the Eucharist, the Bread of Life, to nourish us...
to be with us, to lead us on, to Heaven.
IX. O brother, sister, He who totally gave His life that you may live,
Can you not fully give it back for Him to use...?
To serve Him with the Gifts He gave that others, too,
May live for Him, Jesus Christ, our King!
