How do I Prepare Myself to Pray the Rosary?
Pope John Paul II wrote that the fullest kind of prayer occurs not when we talk, but when we let God be present to us. Let yourself begin each Rosary by experiencing a real thirst for the contemplation of Christ through Mary in a moment of silence.
Then and only then, meditate on each mystery announced by the Word of God by entering Mary's heart: this is the reality of realities.
Remember to offer your intentions to Mary. Jesus gave the Blessed Virgin to us as mother. Who is more able to intercede with her Son? If she intercedes with her Son, he can only fulfil her prayers and consequently grant our own prayers through her.
